The Crosses We Bear
Endings...and Beginnings

You Know You're a Blogger When...

:)  Laugh with me dear readers, that after almost six months of blogging, I am still learning what are such basic things about blogging and technology.  Today, I actually took my own picture using the "stretch-your-left-arm-out-as-far-as-it-can-go-and-snap-a-picture-while-you're-blinded-with-the-flash-two-feet-from-your-eyes" technique.  I tried holding one of my dogs while doing this, but I only managed to get the top of his fuzzy head.  The coolest thing though, is how I managed to get the digital picture from the camera to my PC and then on my blog.  Its the little things that make me laugh. :)

At any is my short list that makes me feel like I've taken big steps as a blogger (if only the Christian life were this easy to feel "accomplished"):

1) I now have a picture of myself on my blog-  I've been wanting to do this for awhile now, but have in my mind made the picture transfer thing much harder than it actually is.

2) I have a "subscribe" button on my blog - How cool it is that you paste in the code and the little blue and white button appears like magic.  Subscribing through bloglines is pretty handy!  Click the button and see!

3) I feel like MAJOR computer programmer when I edit "HTML" code.  :)  What a crack up!  I still can't remember by memory how to center-justify my text, but by golly if I need it I can do it.

That is all for now.  Hope you all got a good laugh out of my "challenges".  If only I were as accomplished as some of my Grace blogging buds... You know who you are.   Someday I may be able to put a photo in my text.  :)  One step at a time.
